Our 100th Day of school was Feb. 26th...We had so much going on with Jump Rope for Heart and our mobile science lab, but we did get in some cool 100 day fun! Check out our "Student Page" to see the pictures of our projects and the fun we had!
Our next unit will be on Geometry! We will learn about 2D and 3D shapes. We will also learn how to use a protractor to measure angles. Each student will receive a protractor for the unit to use. They are allowed to use them at home as well as in school, so bring them with your daily! Also, we are in need of boxes, no larger than 12 inches long, for our Area/Perimeter Unit. This unit will not come after MSA, so keep on collecting your boxes! Every fifth grader will need one for the unit.
Check out the sites below for some fun geometrical activities. We will be working with many of them in math class.
